Every weekend, whenever I would do my usual Sunday sprucing up routine, I have a chaotic life to deal with in my bedroom.

my walls need repainting. blame the wood paint accident and wallpaper-happy fingertips XD

my messy bed. which also happens to be my portable macbook’s bed mate. exclusively for lazy slackers like me.

more clutter. piattos chips, multi-use makeup palette, a 10lb hexagon solid dumbell weight, desk accessories, fake roses, shells, bags, korean face creams, ah whatelse. name them for me.XD

oh yeah i have marshmallows too. accessories, my old p990i, a huge orange candle, my old school ID, a bottle of h20, and SD CARDS.

bags of all kinds.

my not so handy Sony tripod.

my cutesy teddy bear and small TV.

socks and all sorts of colorful things.

and of course, my doll closet clothes.
more stuff in my room:

Chaotic life aside, let me remind you of my cuteness and creativity:

I REPEAT: I’m not unorganized — just organizationally challenged. HAHAH. And I would so create my dream bedroom soon, if only my imagination weren’t inspired by many different things.
Which is why Sundays proved most important day of the week for me. And the verdict: challenging bedroom decorations for greater eye appeal. Trust me when I say cleaning up on Sundays can’t be boring when you have bright colors in the mix.
And so, if you’re anything like me, here are some colorful room decorating tips I hope you will find useful:
- No to white walls ~ as you can see I’ve painted my walls into a vibrant, yellow color. XD although it needs repainting.
- No to boring neutrals ~ do you see anything beige up there?
- Paint your room in creative ways. Wall paintings or READ HERE
- Choose colors that will complement your mood ~this is important. colors affect our moods greatly.
- Add decorative bed pillows; heart-shaped, round, oblong, footlong-sized. ~oh anything pretty fluffy works.
- OHYEAH STUFF TOYS. ~if you’re feeling extra girly like me of course.
- Go for interesting whimsical room accessories ~ make one out of inspirations/hobby or buy some.
- Pay a lot of attention to details and color schemes~ create color harmonies
- Know your obsessions and use it as your room’s main color attraction. ~see those books? I fell in love with them.
- Always have a cheerful mood. This makes way for a bright and happy bedroom.
- Last but not the least, let your personality go with it.

Space sprucing up your room is fast and easy of course with these steps:
Step one: The bed
Step two: The Laundry
Step three: The nightstand
Step four: Random stuff
Step five: Dressers and closets
Step six: Bookshelves
Step seven: computer desks
Step eight: The floor

Have fun decorating!

Of course, just when you thought how heinously tasting a hundred-year-old-egg and a green Popeye vegetable would be, I’ll prove you wrong. I think in restaurants they call this as “Chinese Spinach Dish In Superior Broth” or the “3 eggs wonder dish”, I love.
In some days, the best cook in my Mom’s kitchen is my Dad. I hunger for his world-class cuisines; chowing and nibbling and shoving forkfuls of his flavorful dishes into my mouth as much as I can! YEAAH I’m a HUGE fan of his kitchen know-hows! His cooking talent not only use the simplest ingredients — he has magical food-happy fingers that’s so secret and special it could transform a dull bunch of vegetables into one that’s bursting with flavor and goodness. Which is what you have exactly in the pictures up there and below here. Perfect lunch recipe for vegetable lovers like me. Homaan I wish I had a talent like my dad’s. Props to him for his upbringing that has now turned me into this talentless, food-loving child of the omnipotent one. XD
And so, for Friday lunch this is what I got in my lunchbox:

looks like a bunch of grass in muddy water with soft white blocks of foreign food in the mix. Ah, but with a few spoonfuls shortly, MY TONGUE WATERING AND SCREAMING EXTRA RICE FOR THIS.
Should you decide to make one for me (LOL), here’s how:
Ingredients -
1x Regular egg (you may add more if you are planning not to use salted eggs or century eggs)
2x Salted eggs (one full salted egg, and one egg yolk)
1x Century egg (chopped; omit this if you don’t fancy it)
1 pack spinach (bought from the super market)
2 tbsp dried prawns (washed and soaked)
1 pot Chicken Stock (boiled with chicken bones and 3 corn on cob; for convenience you might want to use 3-4tbsp of concentrated chicken stock in 2l of water)
Method of preparation -
1) Boil the chicken stock for over 2hrs (on stove, after bringing the soup to a boil, continue to simmer under low fire)
2) Remove all the chicken bones and corn on cob after the soup is boiled.
3) Add all the eggs into the soup and dried prawns, bring it to a boil.
4) Add the spinach, once the vegetable is cooked, just cease fire
5) Serve (no seasoning is required as the salted egg and dried prawns would have given the soup base some taste).
Long P.S.
Speaking of Lunchbox, I started packing healthier lunch to work recently. It is now my new-found moolah making strategy. My diet depends on it, my life depends on it, my money depends on it! HAHAH. And yes, I need to save for that 100 peso a day meal allowance ~ simple Algebra: divide the rice + veggies x more veggies = good living + me eating more quickly and more moolah to spend on clothes, cupcakes and frozen yogurt!
Ah, I love my life.

Here’s a list of my current obsessions and a few that have always been. Okay, maybe I should limit it just for this week. Haha. I haven’t even started yet and my mind’s gone twisted already. Kay. Nuff said.
- Pocky super snack sticks (in strawberry flavor)
- Kopiko’s Brown Coffee
- Magic Lipsticks
- Plato Wraps (vegetable)
- Bokeh
- Peanut butter sanmiches
- Keebler’s soft batch cookies
- Adobe Lightroom
- Korean lazy buns
- Lactose-free milk
- Flat shoes
I am under the pretense of having a majority of food in this list. This is scary, though. LOL.

I love the liquid sunshine today. I love the rain-slicked streets and the smell of the dew on the grass. I love the wet trees and the look of the flowers coated with cold drops of rain. The hot summer months are over now, I guess. So goodbye, summer and HELLO to you rainy season! That means, putting away your summer clothing, your well-loved summer wedges, your rayban sunshields and time to bring out your light jackets and colorful umbrellas. Honestly, I couldn’t help get a little excited for this season. The onset of random thunderstorms and giant nimbus clouds, sitting cozily by the window and watching the clouds burst. Ah, it’s here.
P.S.
don’t spoil your fancy shoes this rainy season. wear rubbershoes or something plastic – works all the time. XD

This is madness! A friend of mine called me up a while back and announced that Dashboard Confessional just made a pit stop in the Philippines and tonight at 7pm-ish they’ll be at Trinoma Mindanao Open Parking Lot for a live, kick-ass concert! How could I not know?? I think my heart just heinously shattered! I’m such a huge fan ever since in the middle of my college years, but already there’s a slight dim of hope that I would be able to watch them. *insert tears* I KNOW it would be sheer heaven to get my arse there, and mosh and sing with the crowd and all that fangirling whateveryoucallitz, but the thing is — I haven’t bought tickets yet. Not that I don’t plan to buy one for myself or have my friend urged well enough to buy one for me, LOL — but my selfish schedule JUST won’t allow me to. This problem is troubling my spirit so much that it’s bringing me hot tears of sadness. *sigh*
Those frontrow seats are KILLER seats and I really could use a wish right now.
*oh star fall down*

I’m having plenty of signs that my time of the month is coming up (Read: last post), but my energy remains surprisingly positive. Thanks to my big cup of brown coffee! And of course, mom’s bitesized butterscotch that she plopped into my bag before leaving home for work this morning. Aww Mom you’re the best.
Nothing much today, as I think I have graciously given every energy required for a day’s worth of salary. Haha. So at the moment I am free to do anything in my own right, RIGHT? Lulzy. XD
Anyways, I was working with Adobe Lightroom this lunch tweaking on what I can do with my pics using its features. Well, I have to say, post-production work has never been this easy:

Two completely unrelated pictures I know. But both buoyantly brought (Wow 4 B’s) a smile to my face as I soon as I saw the pretty results.
I’ll be leaving in a few minutes and be heading for the gym, after that, I’ll go home and start working with my photos from Anawangin Cove. And I think that’s nao.:P
P.S
Angelic-faced boy called me up last night. Aww such a sweet boy. Hee :3 I love you~
