Yeah.. this video made me want to try Pole Dancing In The Philippines

And after looking at this vid I bet you first thought Ciara Sotto was gonna fall face first onto the flat ground. HAHAH. But she didn’t. She was SPECTACULAR, and as a matter of fact too damn good. The workload seems pretty light. But then again after watching this a few times I’m thoroughly conviced that I should be stretching my human body each day into painful ways to be able to do this MY GOODNESS.

that being said, POLE DANCING is delicious. let’s freakin face that, people.

this is actually the first time that I got hooked to something and I’m willing to try at once.

So this morning, I decided: choose a pole dancing studio in the Philippines to enroll.

And I confess: Monday’s gonna be a tough day for me because I enrolled right away! :D   srsly, for a serious class.

I chose to enroll at Movement Dance Studio, among others (Pole Fitness association of the Philippines and Pole academy Phils). Mainly because I learned it was the very studio where Ciara Sotto learned every bend and break. YAY. :D

So right now, people, all you can hope for is that I don’t get into serious trouble again.

I welcome giant bruises, though.

But something in me tells that I’m not getting those alone but something more.  OH NOES. Good thing I’ll share the pain with my friend Vanessa HAHAH.

So wish us luck!

(And please encourage me effectively because I know Pole dancing is going to be tough on Monday, but nowhere near as hard as becoming my flexible (and strong) self once again)

6 Images I Love (And Stolen From The Internet) :D

I had a foodgasm when I saw this. I mean who wouldn’t! It’s Nutella and Ferrero Rochers! !&*%^!)&#%!&*@%!&*%Ahdasjldhkl:; I would need a restraining order from this, srsly. T_T it just looks so good on its own.. Mmmm..

I’d be popping this kind habitually, I swear!  You get a quick dose of happiness and instant inspiration when you want it happening. But how would that be possible? SIGHHH. I really hope there is this such thing that could be bought at the nearest medical store.

Every time I look at this mindblastingly cute collection of a picture of polaroid cameras, I always tell myself to be emotionally detached with material things. But I just couldn’t! And with nearly all of my money easily vanishing because of my shopping addiction and excessive buying, my desire for it is slowly waning.  But let’s not lose hope people, there’s lottery!  HAHA. BUT then again in order to win that I’d probably need to read this Free Winning Lottery Strategies from Google first, or wait for December because that’s the time of the month in which I will get  paid for my thirteenth month pay.  SADNESS.

Yes people, this is an awesomely picture of a black tiger! The moment I saw this I knew it was the exact animal that the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe got their inspiration from for their costume that they used during the 2010 UAAP Samsung Cheerdance Competition.  CHECK OUT THE PICS HERE. It was fierce and beautiful and made the hair stand up on the back of my head. :)

This is like, love at first sight. And unreal much. But it’s creating peace and happiness around people like me like never before, so it kinda evens out.

HAHAH! I love this! It is body lace in panty format, ftw. :) It reminds me of our costume during the Slimmer’s World Grand Aero Fusion. Check out the pic here. Hot body lace is hot.

Feelings are temporary.

There are really days when I feel so out of myself. I guess it’s safe to say that’s okay and that it’s good to go out of your box and think outside of it sometimes. Today is the same old Thursday of the week, however; I get up at 5 am, brush my teeth, eat my breakfast and go to work. Sometimes also I eat lunch by myself and today I did that (and I kind of like it) .

This was produced not out of boredom alone, but out of this little heavy breathing I’m feeling at the moment. It is temporary. Trust me. It’s not like I can’t close my eyes to THAT. But we all wish we could close our eyes to things we don’t want to see, but why is it that we can’t close our eyes for feelings we don’t want to feel? Why does it  start to get hurt the moment you begin to care.

In other news: I use some techniques to achieve this style of photo manipulation. I pay a lot of attention to details, color, dress, and theme. I don’t have any inspiration for this one though; I inspire myself I guess. Usually, it’s my feelings that play a major part in helping me create my craft. It’s no magic, just pure product of my emotions.

Also, as you will notice, I dyed the ends of my hair into burgundy red. Red symbolizes strong emotions, blood, love and passion. You get the picture as to why I’m less perky today. But hey, no worries people.

I currently want to be more creative, to have that ability to think and make or see or hear something that did not exist before. Yes, that. I want that.

Slimmer’s World Grand Aero Fusion 2010

If there’s one exciting dance competition held every year, it surely isn’t the UAAP cheerdancing thing — it’s the Slimmer’s World Grand Aero Fusion. Why? Because for one thing, it’s participated by 13 branches around the country, including one center from southern Cebu (which is actually bigger compared to UAAP’s participants around the metro of 8 schools only) but I’m not really comparing — just saying. :D   The competition is that BIG.

Secondly, the odds of you winning this competition with your combination of aerobics and dancing is really  high yet one that will really challenge your might and skills. With a must-follow routine of the aerobics protocol (warm-ups, stretching, aero proper and cool down), I was challenged myself that even I couldn’t believe I have competed for 3 years already! And this year, ten branches battled it out at the Market! Market! activity center last September 10, 2010 to be hailed this year’s champion: Trafalgar, Sm City, Megamall, Pasig, Cebu, Legazpi, Adriatico, Alabang, Pasay Road and Caloocan. Imagine how big that scope is!

I, of course, repruhzent SM City!

Sadly, we didn’t win. But I’m happy to announce that partaking in this event has been worth it, nevertheless. Actually, I don’t think it was ever a competition – it was more of, say, an outlet for joy. Joy in its purest form that I really didn’t mind about the whole winning and accepting-a-defeat-thing, what mattered only was to be able to dance my heart out and share my talent with the world. Only that. And that only.

Anyhoo, the more important  thing is that we did our best and I danced with truly awesome people!  The friendship we built in that entire 2 months of blood, sweat and tears  for prepping up was a little unforgettable experience.  And we shall do better next time. Everybody took  aerodancing a notch higher and they all had nice choreography and were very synchronized with their steps. You must work together as a team… now that’s something we need to work on. For our battle on the dance floor next year. :D

Again, Congratulations to Slimmer’s World Legaspi for being the champion of this event!  Cebu for being the 1st runner-up and Greenhills as 2nd runner-up!

And thanks to my lovely parents and friends who was there to watch us, it was something I truly appreciate!

P.S. In retrospect, the UAAP cheerdance competition is another past life experience that I had, which for me has been truly awesome.  But I must say I enjoyed the dance competition within Slimmer’s World more. :)

Enjoy the photos and vids!

Also, I got interviewed by the media! They asked me how we prepared for the routine and what’s it like. I said it took us nearly 2 months of practice in preparation of our routine. And our dance was fused with hiphop, jazz, belly, and hi-lo workouts.

As an opening number, the managers from the different centers of Slimmers World danced to Shakira’s Waca Waca led by Yen Lopena (2008 Slimmers World Miss Bikini Bodies and Manager of Face and Skin Clinic Alabang). This showcases to the audience the special aerobics concerts Slimmers World offers every month featuring an artists with the latest or greatest dance songs.

I will upload our dance competition video soon, so stay tuned!

Here’s what I learned:

  1. If one could readily have what he truly wanted, then life would be too easy. Too easy that everybody wins the competition.
  2. Joining dance competitions is completely awesome, but the stress in betweens, is total headache (and of massive proportions, mind you).
  3. If you will strain your physical self with stress for weeks, make sure you have the right skills.
  4. Skills such as having a functioning schedule of vitamin intakes, carbo-loading meals at many times of the day, loads of sleep, and weekend massage classes in your bed  to prevent your body from withering with wide black circles under the eyes and painful asthma attacks in the mix. (yeah, that complicated)
  5. There are wonders in power napping, anytime at anywhere. Get it when you can.
  6. The things you love to do never really drain your energy. You will always have the drive for it.
  7. That there are people out there who will really support you.  A loving family who’s got non-stop support!
  8. And even with zero wins, you get a bag of freebies: non-fat milk, Ellipse collogne, bottles of Colgate Plax and shaving stuff, HAHA. (these are our consolation prizes!)

Managing sickness absence, stress and dry coughs.

Hey guys, I’m back! And I officially declare that my 2 months worth of super stressful weekends (yes, there are s’s) to be over! But it may not be totally true since starting this week, I believe there will be more sessions of slaving for whatever that would come about  — among others. If this follows through I might end up like a log moving about if you know what I mean. Now I wouldn’t want that if you ask me. :/

And just recently, my throat has suffered from dry coughs but it’s slowly healing, I guess. This is due, most probably, to our dance rehearsals that got me sweaty along the back, most days, and it has been bothersome and truly embarrassing for me. I already swallowed some Carbocisteine Solmux Mucolytic Capsule and chewable tablets and still couldn’t believe none of these over the counter medicines has worked yet.

The only time I’d get relief, though, is when my mouth remains un-stuffed with food for the rest of the day, or when I fill them up by eating. Which is kind of odd because I don’t get sick easily, geez. So I’m stucked with itchy throat alone that I swear won’t get out of my system. But hey, miracles do happen right.

Hoping to find cure from dry cough through other medicines, I tried Cloxacillin Sodium. Asdfghjkl;~ ! I am really surprised about the effectiveness. As I type this I have little difficulty in breathing now and my dry coughing has stopped.

TODAY. I called in sick to office and is obviously absent from work in the corporate world but I LOVE IT. HAHAH. This is rest. Truly! C’mon, there’s no way you would want to embarrass people again in the office with your dry cough, am I correct?  And if you ask me I’ll most probably spend this precious time of the day on my bed sandwiched between the softness of my giant sidneyland pillows and hugging them before drifting to sleep. I would srsly love the quality time, my bed should be proud of me.

Hopefully, tomorrow, someone with a good heart will shower over me healing magic to get rid of this illness I’m feeling. :)

I seriously, seriously can’t wait to heal soon.

Dear God, please heal me from the inside out.

Seriously, This Is How You Draw

Yeah seriously, that’s how you draw. People are always asking me from left to right how I drew this and that and I always don’t know how to explain. So no kidding here people, that is how you draw.
