Too cute too eat: Blushing cupcakes, Shabu Shabu Express and The Great British Takeout

Had you read the about section of this blog, you would have known that I have a very high distraction rate over lovely and dreamy and cuddly and shy and beautiful and awwww *drools*

Ta-Da!

Wednesday night dinner: Shabu Shabu Express.

Before some other Filipina blogger pulls my strings to HAHAH me for such guilty pleasure I think you should know this isn’t my fault. Cuteness/food control is impossible when your cravings have been thoroughly attached by your everyday encounters with them. AND I ADMIT!

But it didn’t stop there!

Dinner last night:

  1. Zappa Crispy Fish Sandwich [Php110]
  2. Strawberry Calamansi [Php50]
  3. Cupcake [Php33]

I’ve been hitting the gym since Monday and it never gets boring. I’m saying that because not only does it assure me of losing weight but because after a hard, sweaty session of working out, I find it easy to eat more and well, eat the cupcake I want (gulit-free) THAT’S WHAT.:D

But I gotta be honest: I’M SOOOO SAD.

I was happy when I found this place: a pretty, colorful shop devoted solely to cupcakes!!! There were so many, and they were so beautiful, that I just couldn’t pick.

And then I finally did pick one as dessert for my great Zappa Crispy Fish Sandwich dinner, paid for it, and bit into it… and it tasted liked CARDBOARD. I mean, srsly! I think I just digested those heinous artificial ingredients and preserves. *cries*

The store has a pretty wonderful concept, though:

Note to self: For all the fancy food colors, don’t expect flavors, when it’s just food coloring. XD (Stick to Frostings sid, demmet!)

HEY GUYS! How have you all been?

It’s been two days since my last update though it felt like aaaaages. I needed time to regain strength from my being idlepants and time to lose a little belly fat from the series of hours which involved pure rice consumption, fatty foods, Nutella, and more whatnots.

So I figured I’d work out again and reduce my rice intakes (which is a sad thing by the way because I truly love rice) to get toned and be back in shape. But believe it or not people — it was not a major problem. Slimmer’s World gym is still the best gym around and those three years of  membership attest. They have the best aerobics classes like ever! Since backpains were unavoidable, I googled and learned that back exercises and proper stretching techniques works, actually.

IN OTHER NEWS: I’m sharing this thingo I did in betweens!

I love lights, sparkle and everything else that shines.

I used GIMP to process this photo because Photoshop evaporated into my thin desktop air for reasons IDK and worse of it: I LOST THE CD! Nonetheless, it’s a great photoshop alternative and I like the fact that it is noob-friendly! CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD GIMP.

Thanks to HERE and HERE for the old film and lomo-like textures! I love Deviantart because it makes me discover things I likely didn’t know. ;}

Aaaannd of course! Here’s another photomanipulation I also did using GIMP and was produced out of boredom with a lovely walking goddess of a friend, Chu Cornita. Click the pictures (above and below) and it’ll take you to Sidney Antolin’s Flickr site.

I should get back to it. I just know.

23, Palm Pre Plus, And Amazing Great Parents/Friends

I just got a year older!

I know I said I was going to get a Nikon D60 camera for my birthday, but this just won my heart.. I love Palm Pre Plus!

I know. The bear is as cute as anything. :3

The Palm Pre Plus may not be in the same league as the Apple Iphone 3Gs and the Blackberry Storm, but I find it wayyy cooler than those two. I’ve always wanted an Iphone but this wonder arrived early as a birthday gift from my Tito Boy (thanks uncle!) and of course I couldn’t thank him enough as I may only be one of the select few people who actually owns it in the Metro! I love it, srsly! Maybe it’s the magnificent touchscreen technology or the whopping 16 gig memory, but whatever it is, just one look and I wouldn’t have second thoughts about buying the Palm Pre Plus if it were sold in the Philippines. Ahhhh best.birthday.gift.ever. :]

Speaking of GIFTS — here are more goodies I got for my birthday!

I had the best birthday party ever! I’ve discovered everything I know about drinks so far makes me believe I’m less fun, but just because I drink little doesn’t mean I can’t be that someone who could mingle w/ a bunch of drunks and have a good time. And if you ask me how it went — it’s the phenomenon of amazing and awesome and my friends are seriously endless amusement! Quite frankly they are too many to mention, HAHAH but most of all…

..to my PARENTS!! — for being the best cooks in the whole entire world and for just being great support throughout my 23 years of life (sooo drama). Srsly, couldn’t do it w/o you folks! *kiss*kiss*

This is… LIFE. :)

P.S. I’m back, noticeably. And I would love to be able to tell stories again – believe me, very willingly! Of course, if ever am not around, you can find me on Twitter. I don’t tweet a lot, but I tweet when I can.

See you around!

2010 Easecox Philippines Lingerie Fashion Show And Grand Launch

THE grand launch of a lingerie store in a glam hotel isn’t the first place you would expect me to show up on, but there I was, witnessing a fashion show on a Sunday night and I just had the conclusion that beauty is wellness!!

Yeaahhh! :] It starts with a model scorching the ramps in beautiful bodystockings and ends with boxes of freebies! And this I found out: many are actually willing to push a few boundaries to look their best, and the Diamant Gemstone Series proves it!

70,000 pesos each! Would you believe? I barely can!!

Easecox Diamant have HEALTH BENEFITS . That explains why it is so costly. Not many lingerie/underwear (like Wacoal Sorci Age) actually do this! It’s been proven not only Easecox will naturally lift and firm your glutes, it provides lifts and creates cleavages for those who lack them — including ME, lulz)!

Check out the testimonials HERE and HERE!

Speaking of HERE, it’s here: Easecox Group International!

I absolutely love the whole lingerie outfits! Watching the entire night of fashion show has made me open my doors to health and beauty, and I think I wouldn’t mind attending the next event! But I have never before thought too much about lingerie prices, I mean srsly??! 70 grand!!?

On a higher note: I can’t imagine myself wearing Easecox (but if I can own a pair) I’ll be happy.
