Hi guys, I have NEW HAIR. :]

♥

♥

♥

I now have waist length hair – my favorite length of all the long ones I had – this time without the bangs.

It took me 9 months overall to grow my hair to waist length!
I had waist length hair before, but with the bangs:

And in retrospect, I’ve been experimenting with new hair since last year. Remember my attempt to cut my hair like Choi Kang Hee’s? The bangs hairstyle is still way cute..

But then I got pregnant, and I couldn’t dye my hair nor wear any make-up! I had to stop changing my hair ‘coz I googled and learned that it isn’t safe to color your hair during pregnancy. The only safest way to change it is to get a trim, so I got a trim! Trimming your hair helps it grow faster, and in about 3 months time my hair has grown past my waist! I think it’s also because I want a mature look for 2012 so I kept my hair long and decided to grow my bangs again.

We’ll see if I can make it!

I ALWAYS KNEW stretchmarks will permanently stay on my tummy when I decided to have a baby. My mother doesn’t have them on her belly, except a c-section scar, but OMG these darn silvery stretchmarks are not going anywhere! I swear only babies make everything feel better. It is never gonna be your friend. They are totally digusting and you’ll feel fat having them. In short, they are not pretty a.k.a they are there FOREVER. Stretchmarks do appear on your hips, breasts, thighs and guess what? even behind your knees. Even if you’ve gained a little after pregnancy, it won’t save you and not scratching them don’t even count. Trust me, I did everything possible to keep them from appearing! I even tried relaxing like a turkish local since I googled and learned that stress causes stretchmarks, but this is what I learned the most: Just because mom doesn’t have them, doesn’t mean you won’t get them. Ow, alright I need to stop hating my body for once (remember goals, goals!). *_* I JUST WANT MY STOMACH BACK.
Apparently, creams are the most natural way to get rid of stretchmarks and I’m hoping to reduce stretchmarks with creams. Sooo I’ve been using Myra-E VitaFirm Firming Hand & Body Lotion and Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme ever since after giving birth. Well, I have to say it improved my skin’s tightness and elasticity. It’s really creamy and moisturising. And it really isn’t a pregnancy cream, more like your everyday lotion plus the prices are reasonable! :]

Oh well, here’s hoping! I took pictures so I could compare just in case, but I’m not posting them yet. I’ll let you know how these products go!

BEFORE I HAD a baby, I had always thought that I needed nothing else to be happy — but I was wrong. Cataleya came, and there was such a HUGE change in my life. And I do really mean HUGE ‘coz caring for a new baby is overwhelming. It’s like having a mental block that clouds your brain and bracing yourself for long stressful nights of epic proportions and good lord I have nil idea what I’m supposed to do with her. Haha. But srsly? the newness of it all and the responsibilities that come along with it ALL SCARED ME. My fatigue is beyond belief. Nursing every 2 hours, changing nappies 8x a day, making sure your baby burps ~ it was all simply unthinkable! No one ever told me that daily life with a newborn will be so unpretty. Even Mom told me last night I’m starting to look like losyang already. *_* I have zero experience caring for babies! Nakakahiya lang ‘coz breast milk will drip all over your clothes and sometimes you can barely remember to bathe! But who cares teddybears, I’m surviving the days and I’m loving these glorious imperfections in my life. Laughing at my mistakes and bawling my eyes when I felt like it felt soo good. As much as it is stressful and sounding horrible, it can bring fun and fulfillment din pala. One day, I’m going to become expert in parenting haha. And as a mom now at 24 and looking forward, I can proudly say I am sincerely glad I made the decision to do the unthinkable, that I had enough courage to push through with it. Even if I had to go through pregnancy again, I know I’d still do it ‘coz the pains are worth enduring. :]
I thank God he gave me supportive parents. I just do not know what I would do without them. I love you Mom and Dad! (and now a lolo and a lola) :}
And of course PICS!! to bring ~life~ to this entry. source: my tumblr blog
