My 2012 Hairstyle: Waist Length Hair

Hi guys, I have NEW HAIR. :]

I now have waist length hair – my favorite length of all the long ones I had – this time without the bangs.

It took me 9 months overall to grow my hair to waist length!

I had waist length hair before, but with the bangs:

And in retrospect, I’ve been experimenting with new hair since last year. Remember my attempt to cut my hair like Choi Kang Hee’s? The bangs hairstyle is still way cute..

But then I got pregnant, and I couldn’t dye my hair nor wear any make-up! I had to stop changing my hair ‘coz I googled and learned that it isn’t safe to color your hair during pregnancy. The only safest way to change it is to get a trim, so I got a trim! Trimming your hair helps it grow faster, and in about 3 months time my hair has grown past my waist! I think it’s also because I want a mature look for 2012 so I kept my hair long and decided to grow my bangs again.

We’ll see if I can make it!

Getting Rid Of Stretchmarks With Nivea And Myra-E Vitafirm Creams

I ALWAYS KNEW stretchmarks will permanently stay on my tummy when I decided to have a baby. My mother doesn’t have them on her belly, except a c-section scar, but OMG these darn silvery stretchmarks are not going anywhere! I swear only babies make everything feel better. It is never gonna be your friend. They are totally digusting and you’ll feel fat having them. In short, they are not pretty a.k.a they are there FOREVER. Stretchmarks do appear on your hips, breasts, thighs and guess what? even behind your knees. Even if you’ve gained a little after pregnancy, it won’t save you and not scratching them don’t even count. Trust me, I did everything possible to keep them from appearing! I even tried relaxing like a turkish local since I googled and learned that stress causes stretchmarks, but this is what I learned the most: Just because mom doesn’t have them, doesn’t mean you won’t get them. Ow, alright I need to stop hating my body for once (remember goals, goals!). *_* I JUST WANT MY STOMACH BACK.

Apparently, creams are the most natural way to get rid of stretchmarks and I’m hoping to reduce stretchmarks with creams. Sooo I’ve been using Myra-E VitaFirm Firming Hand & Body Lotion and Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme ever since after giving birth.  Well, I have to say it improved my skin’s tightness and elasticity. It’s really creamy and moisturising. And it really isn’t a pregnancy cream, more like your everyday lotion plus the prices are reasonable! :]

Oh well, here’s hoping! I took pictures so I could compare just in case, but I’m not posting them yet. I’ll let you know how these products go!

Hair With A Bang

BANGS ARE THE LATEST TREND in hairstyling and with good reason. Some people like it wispy or jagged. I want it somewhere between sideswept and blunt. So here’s what happened over the weekend.

You see what I did there? My bangs didn’t turn out half as good as I wanted it to. Haha! It was labour day and of course I’ve been forced to work because the blogging industry doesn’t believe in holidays, and I cheated on work time to get an instant face-frame ‘coz I was watching Protect The Boss and OMG Choi Kang Hee!!!! I. WANT. HER. HAIR.

Beautiful!

and this was my attempt…

I want to say it’s a FAIL, but I’m not sure if I feel comfortable with that. Nyaha. And it’s a picture with boyfran ‘coz cropping people out of pictures is MEAN. And I love this guy to death!!! >:D

Seriously if maintenance isn’t always a little tricky, mine wouldn’t turn out like minadali. : x It’s really crucial to start with dry hair. I cut mine while wet and started snipping at whatever angle. DON’T DO THAT. And instead work slowly with dry hair, doing a little bit at a time, and never cutting your bangs straight across!

“Nuff said!

Okay Imma go play Sims Social now.

What’s in my bag?

I READ A LOT OF ”What’s in my bag?” post everyday so I don’t know if seeing a vintage bag full of whateveryoucallitz will interest anyone involved in the blogging world. Haha. I’m sorry if this isn’t interesting but a lot of people were interested in seeing what I bring on random occasions. That plus the fact that I had a lovely stay at the Manila Peninsula over the weekend so I’m gonna go through the things that I brought with me (well, the essentials at least) and not gonna have a bunch of crazy stuff since my knowledge of organization is scant. But doing this was actually fun! :]]

I’m sorry if that’s the nth time you’re seeing the bag (from the post: 5 things I love this week) ‘coz it’s now my favorite vintage bag ever. In retrospect, I carry large ones!! Like standard-sized backpacks since it’s so much easier when you’re a dancer.

Anyhow ~

What’s in my bag breakdown:

  • ID’s
  • Palm Pre
  • My Phone
  • Glasses
  • Hair accessory
  • Small notebook
  • Pen
  • Tissue
  • Mints
  • Keys
  • Make-up kit (lipgloss, eyeshadow, face powder, liquid eyeliner, concealer)
  • Hand Sanitizer

Check out KREAM Online!

I CAN’T SAY THAT I’m all that familiar with this Philippine online fashion shopping thing, but I was invited by Kat, a very good friend of mine, to collaborate with Kream Online Shop the other night, and it’s a dream come true for me! We’ve been waiting a long time for this day to arrive. OMG finally!

Kat and I met personally a few months back to discuss our dream of putting up a fashion shop online. And hands down, Facebook is the nicest place we’ve ever felt to put that one up!

Actually to be honest, this dream has been sitting out for a while. But for what it’s worth, this is buwis-buhay. Of course who wouldn’t like to put up buwis-buhay businesses. Hee. The stars are lining! I hope we’ll get successful at whatever we believe in ‘coz right now it’s worth to me more than anything else in the world. {{:

Gawd these pictures are so memorable!
