Pinay Harry Potter Fan Loves Butterbeer!

Sweet and salty like butterscotch, Filipino Harry Potter Fans will royally enjoy this frothy, sweet drink made famous by Harry Potter himself! Okay, I said that because I truly believe it will taste YUMMY like that, what with all my love for anything sweet! As Roald Dahl say, “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it”… and “Butterbeer” in my honest opinion, is *magical* in every sense.

So yeaah, I BELIEVE! (now gimme my Butterbeer.)

Also: since I’ve been oh-so negative and ill these past few days, Butterbeer would so serve its purpose of “brilliant cure for pessimism”. It’s a happy healthy balance of a drink; insulin, sugar and fat!  HAHAH. Anyway, I couldn’t pass up chance to try this of course! I’ve been a huge Harry Potter Fan since book1 came out  and I’ve always wondered what Butterbeer  would taste like.

I shall make one soon.

~*How to make Butterbeer!*~

Ingredients:

* 1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
* ½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
* ½ tablespoon butter

Directions:

Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.

Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.

Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!
